What does “Reserved Auction” mean?
A Reserved Auction means that each item has a minimum acceptable price set by the seller.
- If bidding meets or exceeds the reserve price, the item is sold to the highest bidder
- If bidding does not reach the reserve, the item may not sell
- Reserve prices are set in advance and are not shown to bidders
This format still allows open and competitive bidding, while ensuring items sell only once the required level is reached.
